About The RoleAt EKFB we’re shaping Infrastructure for a better tomorrow. All four of our partners (Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial and BAM) bring specialist expertise in the design, construction, operation, financing and maintenance of railway networks, including the construction of one of Europe’s latest high speed rail projects.We’re recruiting for an Environment GIS Technician to join our Environment and Sustainability team!This is an interesting role working within the Environment team and supporting several key themes such as ecology, archaeology, consenting and innovation. The role would involve supporting the day-to-day requirements from the team such as map production, spatial analysis, data management and building web applications.Directly supporting the Environment team, you will be responsible for capturing, managing and analysing data in GIS from multiple sources and in a variety of formats.We would need your support with producing maps and drawings for our client and other key stakeholders. We would also need you to support the Environment team in the authoring of web services and web applications in ESRI Enterprise.The role will also require you to provide training and support to internal and external stakeholders.About You
  • Fully proficient in ArcGIS Pro
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and requirements at once
  • Able to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills
