Syngenta Crop Protection is headquartered in Switzerland.Job DescriptionDeliver reactive maintenance support across all engineering disciplines to meet production demands, through fault finding and diagnosis of failure. This can involve both the initial definition and implementation of plant modifications.Deliver planned routine preventative maintenance (RPM) activities to improve plant availability through structured monitoring, asset care and equipment maintenance etc.Identify plant equipment reliability issues, analyse SAP and production data in order to understand improvement options, implement solutions and carry out reviews usually within core trade.Undertake activities in compliance with site, company and regulatory requirements, e.g. SI’s, HSE policy and standards, COMAH (Health and Safety Executive) and PPC (SEPA) etc.Qualifications
  • Understanding of HSE standards.
  • Fault finding and diagnosis techniques.
  • Electrical or Instrumentation core trade.
  • Line manufacturing automation experience (chemical industry experience is beneficial but not essential).
  • In addition to core trade, it is beneficial but not essential that the individual is trained to NVQ level two in at least one other trade.
