Base Location: Flexible, however our preference is that you will be based in one of our key UK or Ireland sites, which includes but is not limited to:- Glasgow, Perth, Aberdeen, Inverness, Reading, Havant, London or Dublin

What is the Role?
Key to our growth ambition, SSE Renewables have an exciting opportunity within the Offshore Engineering & Innovation business for an Engineering Manager to drive our engineering activities across the international offshore wind development portfolio.
Key Accountabilities Will Include
- Leading the technical due diligence for international offshore project opportunities on behalf of SSE Renewables.
- Managing and developing a project engineering team during the early engagement and development phase of international Renewables projects.
- Delivering engineering development activities in line with international project governance and assurance requirements.
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have;
- Experience of managing Offshore Wind Farm design development and delivery on projects.
- Knowledge and understanding of Technical Due Diligence on large capital projects.
- Experience of design development on International projects of high value generation assets and technology is desirable.
- Previous experience of coordinating appropriate technical support to provide insight across design reviews, key outcomes, and risk reviews.
- The enthusiasm and commitment to manage and grow a diverse team of engineers to deliver engineering excellence on world class projects.
