Position: Electronics Radio Engineer
Location: Redditch
Hours: 40 hours per week + Overtime (08:45-17:00 Monday- Thursday 08:45 - 16:00 Friday)
Holidays 23 days + BH
Salary: £27,000 - £34,000 (Depending on experience)

Permanent Position / Excellent Rates of Pay / Early Finish on a Friday / 23 Days Holiday + BH

A leading company in the Radio Telecommunications Solutions sector based in Redditch is seeking an experienced Electronics Radio Engineer, the successful candidate will take responsibility for allocated work including repairs, diagnostics, and system creation down to component level.

Job Roles

" Repairing and diagnosing digital radio sets
" Working on radio sets down to component level following circuit diagrams as required
" Handling some customer enquiries relating to repairs and or technical enquiries
" Supporting the wider engineering team with day-to-day tasks relating to projects.
" Following set procedures as required and suggesting improvements to the processes.
" Creation of bespoke parts down to component level.
" Be the go-to person for all electronic challenges within the workshop.

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess

" Strong electronics background working down to component level, with the ability to create, design and manufacture circuit boards and associated hardware
" The ability to work in a structured manner with a disciplined work ethic.
" A clean UK driving license - you can expect to travel the UK and very occasionally internationally with this role.
" Be able to pass a full enhanced disclosure (DBS)
