I’m currently looking for an electronic component inspection engineer for a key client, and there are two different level roles available.

One is a more general inspection engineer doing visual inspection - for this role engineering qualifications are not necessary, or new grad role, or with limited experience in inspection. Training is provided, and this position comes with the potential to progress into more specialist inspection/test roles.

The second is a more enhanced inspection engineer - skills required listed below.

Key Skills; (training is provided if needed)

Experience with electronic inspection

Experience with component level inspection

Able to read data sheets

Level 2 or higher engineering qualification or related experience

Test capabilities - using in house equipment

Desirable;

Experience with AS6081 Standards (training provided)

Clean room environment experience
