An established and stable manufacturing business in the Yate area which has exceeded expectations over the last two years and remained stable through the challenging times that Covid brought.
Due to continued growth we are seeking to add an Electrical Fitter to the team!

The Electrical Fitter Role
  • Working as part of a larger team the Electrical fitter will be instrumental in the completion of machinery builds through the factory.
  • Read and interpret Electrical Engineering drawings to understand the required panel build and wiring requirements.
  • Layout wiring and panels and complete subsequent builds to ensure an accurate representation of the drawing supplied.
  • Wiring motors, sensors, and safety switches in a fully automated product handling system.
  • Identify and resolve electrical problems during assembly and commissioning.
The Successful Electrical Fitter
  • You should have experience previously working within a similar special purpose machinery assembly environment.
  • The Electrical fitter will be qualified ideally to City & Guilds level 3, have completed an Electrical ONC or a full apprenticeship.
  • Flexible to provide support at customer sites 2 or 3 times per year, (3 - 4 days at a time). This will be to assist with the installation of the product you have built at customer location.
Benefits

£28,000 - £30,000
25 days holiday + Bank hols
Over time - Flat rate during the week / Time and 3/4 during the weekend.

8am -4pm Monday to Friday.
