Job Description

My client are an M&E Contractor who are based in East London & Essex who have a Company Turnover of £3.5million.

They provide a full range of electrical commissioning work, including light and power installations, BMS (Building Management System) to control heating and lighting, installation of electric car charging, fire and security.

Their project portfolio is vast, which includes a mix of New Builds & Refurbishments within a variety of sectors.

Recent projects they have included have been shopping centres, large apartment complexes and office block refurbishments.

Project values vary between £100,000 - £5million.

THE JOB – Electrical Estimator

Monday – Friday
07.30/16.00 OR 08.00 – 17.00
40 Hour Weeks

They are seeking an Electrical Estimator to join their team.

You can be based out of their East London or Essex Office.

Responsibilities:
    Tender document review and analysis including raising of RFI’s with the client
    Supply chain correspondence and enquiries
    Take-off as required conforming to standard estimating conventions
    Vetting incoming tenders/offers from our supply chain and ensuring that the most viable offer is included within our submission
    Preparing tenders for internal adjudications
    Attendance of tender adjudication meetings to present costing approach, project duration, and risks to the business
    Timely submission of tenders
    Attendance in handover of projects to the operations team
