Job ProfileElectrical Design Engineer required for my client based in Rochester, Kent; where they would join a team that develops bespoke automated equipment from the point of sale, through to final commissioning.Electrical Design Engineer Position Overview
  • Based at the offices in Kent, working alongside a team of engineers.
  • Support new projects from sale, through to delivery.
  • Sales support, interpretation of customer specification and raising project files.
  • Support engineers throughout the build process.
  • Project management
  • Parts listing
  • Electrical drawings, panel designs, electrical layouts, specifications and technical files.
Electrical Design Engineer Position Requirements
  • Ability to understand electrical drawings.
  • Fully proficient with MS Word, Excel.
  • Experience within 2D AutoCAD.
  • Basic understanding of PLC’s.
  • Basic understanding of pneumatic systems.
  • Understanding of safety systems.
  • Electrical design of low voltage control gear and single / three phase.
  • Generating bill of materials.
  • Occasional travel to customer sites.
  • Full clean driving licence due to our offices rural location, own transport will be required.
  • Based within a commutable distance of Rochester, Kent.
Electrical Design Engineer Position Remuneration
  • Salary - £35,000 to £50,000 - dependent upon skill, experience and qualifications.
  • Full time position.
  • 25 days paid leave plus statutory holidays.
  • PPE + workplace pension included.
  • Other company benefits.
