About the Team


The teams who work on iMore.com, Androidcentral.com and Windowscentral.com give expert advice to consumers in each of their verticals. We review products, educate consumers, report the news that matters to enthusiasts and help people make informed decisions on the latest technology. You will be joining a team with colleagues in Europe, Asia and North America as part of our global technology coverage of Mac, Windows and Android devices and software.



Job Purpose


To lead planning and execution of commerce content strategy to help grow the MTV brands including Android Central, iMore, and Windows Central.


Key Responsibilities


  • Plan commerce calendar based around popular editorial events
  • Research trends (seasonal, etc) to see what emerging topics can be covered that are relevant at the time
  • Monitor page performance for key metrics while testing new designs, elements, and layouts to improve on-page performance and conversions
  • Oversee team-wide planning and execution of major shopping events (Prime Day, Black Friday, Cyber Monday)
  • Identify evergreen content to be created, monitor ranks, and give performance suggestions
  • Identify ways to grow performance of deals team, including new content ideas, SEO improvements, coverage changes
  • Act as a liaison between the ecommerce and tech team to ensure affiliate networks are properly set up and performance is tracking.
  • Manage high yield content strategy across various brands including VPN, Antivirus & more.
  • Work closely with editorial team leads to establish commerce opportunities and create content plans to execute performance
  • Work with Editorial Director to identify areas of content expansion and growth across each site
  • Perform keyword research for topics to ensure we are targeting correct terms and covering relevant related topics
  • Research and identify new commercial opportunities for various brands
  • Meet regularly with larger ecommerce team to discuss business goals, upcoming opportunities, and ensure general alignment
