  • Provide support to EC&I design and manufacturing project estimates, specifications and other tender documents for successful project winning.
  • Provide day to day EC&I Design Engineering and manufacturing support to the department.
  • Production of technical EC&I design drawings (e.g., electrical schematic, block diagram, panel layout, GA etc.), specifications, engineering orders, residual risk registers
  • Officially liaise/enquire with client and supplier to satisfy engineering design and manufacturing requirements such as creation, modification and dealing of TQs, Bill of Materials (BOM), O&M Manuals, Test schedules, quality documents, FAT and SAT documents.
  • Carry out FAT testing and Commissioning exercise with clients in line with test schedules and specification.
  • Work individually or as part of a larger project team, which may be led by either a Project Engineer or Project Manager.
  • Deliver work in accordance with business quality systems and to monitor, forecast and control their aspects of a project for successful on time in full delivery.
Qualification
  • HND/ Degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant engineering to satisfy EC&I engineering role.
Experience
  • Experience in developing the following: Functional Design Specs, Control Philosophies, Single Line Diagrams, Cable calculations, FAT/SAT documentations, Specifications, Operation & Maintenance, Manuals/Procedures
  • Design and development of electrical control system and control panels in line with industrial and nuclear specification
  • Knowledge and experience of developing & troubleshooting of PLC (i.e., Siemens, Allen-Bradley), HMI, Drive programming & testing
  • Working knowledge and experience of designing and commissioning of MCC, Control panel and instrumentation
  • Working knowledge of current UK Technical and Safety standards /legislation requirements such as Machinery safety risk assessment, Safety of Machinery, Low voltage switchgear and control gear assemblies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with good knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical.
