The MOD Estate is vast, covering about 1.8% of the United Kingdom land mass. The estate includes approximately 50,000 houses, 80,000 technical assets such as runway networks. It also includes 860 listed buildings, 770 scheduled monuments, 10000 archaeological and monuments, 170 Sites of Special Scientific Interest, and eight registered gardens and parks.

Within the Estates Team you will be involved in a wide breadth and variety of professional work on this high-profile public estate.

The Role

We are seeking a motivated Senior Development Surveyor to join and lead an established team within our expanding Estates network.

The successful candidate will be a customer focused team leader, and working closely with military and civilian colleges will deliver exciting and varied estate disposal activities from inception to legal completion.

The MOD Estate is wide and varied, On this unique Estate variety is certain and no 2 days will be the same!

This is an excellent opportunity to join the established DIO Acquisitions and Disposals Team (A&D) and the Estate’s network of highly skilled Surveyors, delivering subject matter professional advice to a wide range of customers.

Post Location

There is 1 position available to be worked from either Andover, or Catterick.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic most employees are currently working from home, as these restrictions ease the post holder may be expected to work a combination of home and office based working. All employees will be provided with IT equipment to facilitate remote working.
