The Senior Delivery Manager leads the CIO Standard Change Team within the Delivery and Operations pillar and will be a customer focal point supervising the delivery and provision of IT Hardware, Software and Mobile Telephony to DIO.

There is a recognised large demand to deliver a provision of support and digital technology services for DIO and its industry partners. This includes the delivering hardware and software via the Defence Digital Catalogue services to end users across the DIO footprint UK and Overseas. The appointment of Senior Delivery Manager will enhance resource to improve customer service and provide leadership to the Standard Change Team.

As a Senior Delivery Manager within the Standard Change Team of the CIO you will have the skills, knowledge and autonomy to help shape the CIO’s approach to Digital Delivery within a focussed Information Technology environment; this will be supported by a programme of curated training to develop and enhance skills and knowledge.

You will have the opportunity to interact with a wide range of stakeholders within DIO, suppliers and the wider MOD. The role requires a high standard of leadership, communication, problem solving, technical knowledge and skills.

The Role requires the person to be on site to provide effective delivery, with some scope to Work from Home on occasion.
