This is an exciting position within the Regional Delivery Chief of Staff (RD CoS) Governance Team which provides a range of Corporate Services for the Director of Regional Delivery (DRD), leads the RD Customer Delivery Managers and undertakes a cross-Directorate lead on Strategy and Policy.

We are seeking an individual who has the ability to use their own initiative; is comfortable working in a fast paced environment, leading on and managing multiple priorities; who can demonstrate a flexible innovative approach, enabling them to adapt quickly to changing/urgent requirements; is capable of making dynamic decisions in a fast paced and fluid environment; has the ability to lead discussions and strong communication skills both written and face-to-face with a wide range of staff including Senior Management. Proficient IT skills are desirable.
Responsibilities
Main Responsibilities
- Developing, leading and managing Risk, Assurance, Audit and Tier 3 functions for DRD and CoS Team.
- Ensuring the Governance process is adhered to, including monitoring and tracking of management action. Recording and providing evidence of management action activity.
- Identifying and engaging with appropriate stakeholders (Industry Providers, TLBs and local representatives) to ensure the RD operates an effective strategy to manage all stakeholders; building confidence in FLCs that their interests are represented and form the primary focus of improvement plans.
- Development of communications and engagement activities for team/function/RD/DIO.
- Represent CoS/DRD in appropriate meetings and workshops; leading meetings and workshops on behalf of CoS/DRD where appropriate.
- Day to day management of the forecasting and management oversight of Control Totals for the CoS.
- Oversight, preparation, analysis and provision of and associated CTs data and narrative across RD for DRD.
