Be part of the DIO Private Finance Initiative (PFI) Finance Team engaged in the high profile and unique financial management of the DIO PFI portfolio of 12 PFIs. You will support your designated Senior Finance Manager, but there will be a high degree of autonomy and you will have dedicated tasks to complete independently.

As the Finance Manager for Project Allenby/Connaught you will provide financial support and guidance for completion of IYM and Planning on behalf of the TLB (Army) who are the delegated budget holder. Ensuring that the financial outputs are produced to a high standard in line with prescribed instructions and timeframe – processing and completion of financial outputs is challenging for this large and complex PFI arrangement.

Assist in the compilation of the Annual Reports & Accounts (ARAc) submission including providing audit samples that are fully and robustly evidenced for the NAO audit programme.

Management and monitoring of change programmes ensuring necessary approvals are completed, ensuring the prescribed process for approvals is observed and tracked to ensure accurate forecasts.

Provide comprehensive financial and budgetary advice to key stakeholders including engagement with existing Service providers and to primarily support your designated Senior Finance Manager.

You will have Line Management responsibility for a Band D Finance Officer.
