The Challenge

Could you be our new Billable Works Delivery Assistant Head?

RD SW&RFCA (Reserve Forces & Cadets Associations) are responsible for effective management across the South West Region to maintain the MOD built estate while supporting our Customers throughout an extensive geographical area. We are committed to the provision of appropriate Infrastructure Services, Facilities Maintenance and customer directed billable works programmes.

The PMO team is expanding and looking for an experienced leader to develop and grow a new team of Project delivery managers. This team will be responsible for managing programmes of work through the programme lifecycle but especially when in delivery through to hanadover (RIBA 5)

A key member of the RD SW Programme Management Office (PMO) team, the postholder will:

Be responsible for management and delivery of agreed programmes of work. Working together with all to ensure delivery of construction activity, safety of team and works, ensuring task milestones are met/exceeded, and cost/quality meets expectation.

Accountable for Leadership and Management responsibility for a team of Project Delivery Managers situated across RD SW to enable the full expectation and delivery of agreed programmes of work.

Manage and closely collaborate with wider DIO stakeholders for a one team approach.

Ensure the team is providing good customer engagement with DIO site/area staff providing effective updated information to all required.

Accountable for developing and maintaining a strong lesson’s learnt/sharing good practice procedure for RD SW and wider RD.

Undertaking other duties which may be reasonably requested by Deputy Head PMO SW and RD SW Senior Leadership team.
