About This Role

We’re looking for a talented Digital Product owner with a drive and passion for digital to join our growing team and become a key part of our digital transformation. In this job, you’ll manage a squad(s) of cross functional colleagues focused on improving a KPI(s), product, process, or journey(s). The exact digital products in the scope of any of our roles may evolve over time. However, this role is specifically the Digital Product owner of a squad tasked to drive large complex transformations across The BT Group.

You’ll Have The Following Responsibilities
  • You’ll collate, distil and interrogate customer insight and business priorities to create a balanced view of customer needs and business challenges for your squad.
  • Be accountable for defining user stories for all new product deliveries and manage the priority of the backlog.
  • You will inspire, coach, and guide a squad to ensure the delivery of outcomes to support the customer and business.
  • You’ll use the product vision and strategy to define and evolve objectives and key results for your squad.
  • Leverage the squad’s skills to collaboratively discover and iterate solutions that are valuable, usable, feasible and viable.
  • Take ownership to measure and clearly communicate product performance and demonstrate how this contributes to the digital and business objectives.
  • You’ll nurture partnerships with stakeholders and collaborate with them to achieve the product vision.
You’ll Have The Following Skills & Experience
  • Demonstrable success Product Management over large and complex change initiatives.
  • Understanding of agile methodologies, ideally as part of a squad.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong commercial background in data driven product management. With excellent knowledge of product KPIs, and ability to draw insight from the numbers and translate to business requirements.
  • Historic champion of Digital.
  • Commercial background in understanding and funnelling market implications into product delivery.
  • Strong collaboration mindset with peers, scrum teams and business stakeholders, all to maximise value created by squad.
