Job Title:

Digital PR Manager

Job Description:

Role Overview

We’re looking for a performance-driven Digital PR to join the growing team at iProspect.

You’ll be passionate and knowledgeable about online content and promotion, including Digital PR, link-earning and traditional PR tactics. You will have a proven track record of earning coverage and links from high-tier media and subsequently contributed to client’s SEO success.

Your responsibilities will include managing reactive PR activity for clients – quick turn around PR content that is tied into the news agenda and requires minimal investment in research and design. A natural newshound, you’ll be immersed in media and understand the kind of content that makes them tick.

You will embody our team vision:

We believe in challenging the status quo. In challenging the way our team and clients think about digital content.

We do this by ensuring that every piece of content we create is measurable against three things: Reach, Engagement and Action. Our content is always enriched by data, created for consumers, and promoted with a bespoke multi-platform amplification plan.

This results in data informed, measurable and action driving intelligent content that performs, every time.

You’ll be passionate and knowledgeable about all things relating to Digital PR, with a particular focus on innovative ways to earn links. In addition, we’re looking for someone who has an eye for detail but is creative, analytical, and inspired by innovation. Whilst a previous degree or role in media, content, PR, or marketing would be desirable we’re looking for people with passion over anything.

Key Responsibilities

You’ll be working on some of our biggest client accounts, working alongside our team of PR managers to identify to formulate and develop story ideas and media opportunities for clients. Your key accountabilities are as follows:

  • Generating link-earning ideas as part of the team and also independently

  • Using data and insights from a client’s backlink profile to fuel your link-earning strategy and ideas

  • Earning high-tier links from relevant and quality sites

  • You will be expected to be client-facing, attending relevant meetings and calls to pitch ideas and update on results

  • Advanced user of tools such as AHREFS, Gorkana, BuzzStream, ResponseSource, and it is advantageous if you know how to use the Google suite of tools, too

  • Proficient in Microsoft packages but Excel and PowerPoint would also be preferential as both are used heavily in the role

  • Building relationships with key media contacts to create coverage and link building opportunities

  • Be interested in the Digital PR industry and share findings and knowledge with the team

  • Use testing principles to innovate the way in which we earn coverage and links

  • Support in the development of post-campaign reports to display how link-earning can be easily measured and reported on

Professional Skills & Key Experiences

  • You will be: Curious, Creative, Self-Motivated, Organised and Passionate

  • 3-5 years’ experience in SEO/PR/Content, either in-house or within an agency

  • Experience working with large retail brands delivering high-tier links on a regular basis

  • A newshound with a great eye for a story

  • The ability to work closely with various teams, contributing on a regular basis

  • Entrepreneurial spirit and drive to continuously improve

  • Exceptional client facing ability and a strong communicator

  • A need to learn more and ask the right questions

  • Fluent written and spoken English, additional languages a bonus
