If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Content & Marketing Assistant to join our Regatta Digital team here in Urmston, Manchester.

An overview of the role:

The Digital Content & Marketing Assistant reports into the Digital Content & Marketing Executive and is a crucial function of the Digital Content & Marketing team. This role is responsible for supporting the implementation of the Regatta content plan across multiple areas with primary responsibility for supporting the implementation of digital campaigns and communications on-site and in email marketing in order to reach & engage new and existing customers, whilst driving global growth.

This role supports the Digital Content & Marketing Executive in proactively coordinating trading, brand, marketing and operational activities as per the daily digital plan. This position is key to supporting the Digital Content & Marketing Executive in ensuring all communications on-site and in email are joined up with the wider team’s activity and message. This includes implementing brand campaigns in addition to tactical promotional activities and ensuring all teams are joined up in activity and message.

A cross-functional role, the Digital Content & Marketing Assistant works with the digital team to achieve a coherent trading and marketing message - creating consistency, driving engagement and revenue growth on-site and in email marketing. This position also requires collaborative working with the in-house marketing teams in order to optimise campaigns for digital.

The Digital Content & Marketing Assistant is responsible for supporting the Digital Content & Marketing Executive to ensure the marketing team are well-briefed and coordinated to meet overall objectives. Working with the Digital Content & Marketing Executive, this role will also report and analyse on-site & email performance, assessing key metrics such as exposure rate, attractiveness rate, revenue and engagement.

As our future Digital Content & Marketing Assistant you will have:

  • Understanding of digital content planning and communication.
  • Appreciation for consumer-experience, delivering innovative experiences and communications which drive customer retention and brand loyalty.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both 1-2-1 and in larger groups.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organisation skills.
  • Desire to learn.
  • Understanding of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) compliance.
  • Relevant international eCommerce regulations e.g. consent and targeting.

Knowledge of the following systems is helpful but not essential:

  • Microsoft platforms e.g. Powerpoint, Excel etc.
  • Briefing and task management systems. E.g. Trello, Clickup, Monday.
  • Digital analytics solutions e.g. Google Analytics (GA).
  • CTM platforms e.g. Bloomreach, DotDigital, Mailchimp.
