It would be impossible for us to outline all the variety and tasks that you’d be able to get involved in, but some of the impact you will have in this role would be:

  • Maintains HR records and our HR databases
  • Successful onboarding and offboarding of new starters and leavers from all necessary systems
  • Process contractual changes
  • General HR office administration including stationary, filing, shredding, copying, archiving, letters, audits and post
  • Coordinate training courses
  • Maintain databases
  • Coordinate and administrative support of some employee benefits and events
  • Support the wider People Team with relevant projects and ad hoc tasks


As our future HR Apprentice, you will have the following:

  • A high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication skills – is concise in written/ verbal communication
  • Is able to work co-operatively with others in the team and across organisation
  • Keen to continue to learn and to enhance learning with coursework/exams/qualifications as applicable
  • Ability to multitask, organise and prioritise work
  • A calm and professional approach with the ability to adapt communication style for different audiences and purposes
  • 5 GCSE’s A*- C / 9 – 4 including English and Maths C/4+ or equivalent
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
