Lascar Electronics is a fast-growing international electronics business, with offices in the UK, USA and Hong Kong, specialising in the design and manufacture of data loggers, smart graphic displays and custom electronic products.

About The Role

We have an exciting vacancy for a Despatch Assistant to join our busy Despatch Department at our Operations facility at Old Sarum. The role involves all aspects relating to order fulfilment.

The successful applicant needs to be dynamic, hands-on, capable of working under pressure whilst remaining calm, with strong skills in problem solving and communication.

You should be IT literate with an eye for accuracy and detail, be numerate and have good communication skills, both written and verbal. Applicants should ideally be based locally and possess their own transport. Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage, but is not essential as full training will be given.

Main Duties Will Include
  • The packing of products into outer cartons as required.
  • Completing the necessary forms and preparing document for the despatch of goods, e.g. packing notes, delivery notes, invoices etc.
  • Ensuring the correct product is shipped to customers on-time
  • Maintaining accuracy of stocks
  • Liaising with carriers and other key stakeholders
