Specific


Compton Care has an exciting opportunity for a Dementia Palliative support worker to join our Living Well centre on a 12 month fixed term basis.


We are looking for an individual to be an ambassador of Compton Care, supporting the reputational profile and brand management while working towards the primary goal of improving access to palliative care for people living with advanced dementia or other advanced cognitive issues.


You will be responsible for delivering high quality compassionate care, clinical tasks and responsibilities under the direction of a Registered Nurse (or other Registered Healthcare Professional).


You must have proficient attitudes and behaviours compatible with NHS and Compton Care values, be able to organise own time and that of junior staff, delegating to junior staff and learners, and participate in teaching and education programmes for staff and patients.


You will have relevant experience delivering care in a health or social care setting with relevant qualifications.
