Our Data Analytics team designs, builds and maintains data models, reports and dashboards for stakeholders throughout our organization. We manage, evaluate and mine vast volumes of web, sales, customer and usage data for information and insights to enable data-informed business choices. Our data team collaborates with all level contributors in Marketing, Product Creation and Finance on stimulating projects, transforming Soundwide into an insights driven organization where analysis, data and reasoning are embedded in all decisions - large and small.


What You’ll Do

  • Gather and analyze data from data models, self-serve data applications and dashboards to define, communicate key metrics, create business insights to support product strategy and enable measurement of key metrics;
  • Perform analyses to support the exploration of hypotheses regarding the performance of existing product features and new opportunities;
  • Use statistical analysis to segment customer behavior and develop targeted solutions;
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities;
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to improve the user experience of the product;
  • Analyze A/B tests to make data-driven decisions and drive key product metrics;
  • Prepare and present data analysis and product performance evaluations to stakeholders and cross-functional teams to communicate insights and recommendations;
  • Turn business questions into clear analysis problems and search for answers by assessing historical information, collecting new data and conducting experiments;
  • You will collaborate with data engineers, data analysts and business stakeholders at different levels of seniority to implement a data strategy, scale our value-creation with data and increase the data literacy throughout our organization;
  • Build relationships and connect with a range of internal stakeholders to create and refine the tools and processes needed to support the product strategy.

What You’ll Need

  • You bring previous experience within relevant Data Analytics roles, e.g. Product Data Analyst;
  • You have working experience defining and understanding Product Metrics (engagement, retention, usage, etc);
  • Proven experience in data modeling and development of reusable tables that serve data applications and dashboards, preferably using dbt and following a git-based development workflow;
  • Experience with modern data analytics tools and platforms, especially the Google stack: Google Analytics / Tag Manager / Ads, BigQuery, Data Studio;
  • Familiarity with e-commerce environments and industries selling digital goods, subscription models;
  • Your demonstrated experience in leveraging analytics and systematic experimentation to improve product KPIs for customer engagement and retention;
  • A profound knowledge of SQL is a must, any additional knowledge of Python or R is a plus;
  • A solid understanding of descriptive statistics and exploratory data analysis;
  • A strong investigative mindset and your demonstrated ability to collaborate with stakeholders and translate requests into requirements;
  • Your strong sense of ownership, and your ability to achieve high-quality results based on imperfect data;
  • You are fluent in English with strong verbal and visual communication skills in order to present your findings to diverse audience groups.
