Leeds, West Yorkshire

About the Data Analyst role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Data Analyst professional with a passion for using data to drive business decisions to work on an exciting customer-driven data transformation programme. As a member of the data insight and analytics team, the successful Data Analyst will work closely with colleagues from various departments to understand key business processes and design, implement, and maintain data models to optimize these processes.
Reporting into the Data Analytics Manager, the Data Analyst will be responsible for collaborating with stakeholders to understand data requirements and identify areas for improvement, whilst also designing and building data models that drive insights and support decision-making.
Utilising a combination of technical and commercial experience, the Data Analyst will also be tasked with querying and manipulating large datasets to extract and clean data for model input, working the across the full life cycle of data models, including monitoring and maintenance
Data Analyst – Key Requirements:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with SQL and other data manipulation or reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, Alteryx, Tableau, etc.)
- Familiarity with data modeling and data architecture concepts
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work with non-technical stakeholders and bridge the gap between technical and business needs to drive value and insight from data
