Data Analyst - Contract - Remote / UK Based, £520 per day Inside IR35

Your new company
You will be working for a Central Government body, remotely with occasional travel to Liverpool therefor all candidates must be UK Based.

Your new role
You will be working with a team of data specialist, and will be responsible for collecting, organising and studying data to provide business insight. In this role, you will:

• apply tools and techniques for data analysis and data visualisation (including the use of business information tools)
• identify, collect and migrate data to and from a range of systems
• manage, clean, abstract and aggregate data alongside a range of analytical studies on that data
• manipulate and link different data sets
• summarise and present data and conclusions in the most appropriate format for users
• Collaborate with our operational teams, policy colleagues, digital programmes, customer insight, and technology to deliver new ways of working, services and functions, which are efficient, effective and user focused.
• Ensure that services, processes, systems and future operating models are designed to meet the needs of users, deliver against regulatory requirements, support efficiencies and deliver outcomes
  

What you’ll need to succeed
You will have experience working within a contract data role, and have proven working knowledge of the following:

• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Communication skills
• Data management. You understand data sources, data organisation and storage.
• Data modelling, data cleansing, and data enrichment skills. You understand conceptual, logical and physical data modelling and can develop knowledge of data cleansing and standardisation.
• Data analysis.
• Data visualisation.
• Logical and creative thinking skills.
• Project management skills. (Senior/Lead Data Analysts may oversee projects within a data analytics team.)
• Proven IT and mathematical skills.
• Quality assurance, validation and data linkage abilities.
• Statistical methods and data analysis skills. You know about statistical methodologies and data analysis techniques
• Testing (Data analysis)
  

What you’ll get in return
You will be offered a 6 month contract, predominantly home based, up to £520 per day. Please check take home pay for INSIDE IR35 role.
