Cyber Security Consultant – UK Remote - £50,000 - £70,000 + benefits:Looking to work for a global cyber security consultancy? With the chance to work with an experienced consulting team, get stuck into the most exciting technology on the market and work with their most prestigious clients, then this is the role for you!The consultancy invests heavily in its Cyber Security team, ensuring that they are equipped with the latest facilities for consultants to conduct their research and projects. They work alongside businesses to understand the value of their information assets, assess any security risks, and develop the technical and procedural controls that are needed to manage these assets.This is a remote position, and you will have the chance, if you desire, for travel to some of their most exciting client sites!Responsibilities:Produce accreditation evidence, security policies and operating procedures, risk assessments, and security assurance management plansExperience working with stakeholders, liaising directly with the client, and ensuring all programme deadlines are adhered toAnalysing the effectiveness of active security controls and proposing enhanced security improvementsDeveloping and maintaining relationships with existing clients, developing proposals to meet their needs, and working to actively grow the client baseTaking on a leadership approach in a mentoring capacity to other consultants to enable their development and progressionExperience and Skills: Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Cyber Security Consulting positionCertifications are desirable in areas such as CISSP, CISM, or similarStrong knowledge of the industry standards and the best practice for ITQualifications relating to ISO 27001 and experience with working knowledge of Governance, Risk & ComplianceStrong verbal and interpersonal skillsPhone interviews are this week, and my client are looking to make this hire ASAP.If this sounds like a role you’d like to hear more about, then email your CV to j.sarro@locke-mccloud.com, or call 02038542230 if you’re interested in this role.Locke & McCloud are the UK’s leading cyber security & information security staffing company – through having a sole focus on the cyber & information security space we have been able to foster solid relationships with some of the UK’s most exciting cyber security consultancies & end users.
