We have several exciting opportunities for Customer Service Advisors who are seeking an opportunity to develop a career within a market leading Insurance Company. We’re looking for positive, passionate people who have a wealth of Customer Service experience to work in our dynamic Commercial Online Team in Bolton.

Joining us as a Customer Service Advisor, you’ll be an essential member of the team handling queries from new and existing commercial insurance brokers. You’ll have strong communication skills, with the ability to build great relationships based on Integrity and trust. We always put the Customer First in everything we do, so we want someone who strives to go the extra mile for them. At AXA we’re adopting a hybrid way of working, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the Bolton office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers.

Working Hours & Shift Pattern: Full time, 35 hours per week over 5 days, 8-hour shifts between the hours of 9am and 5pm Monday-Friday

Induction & Training

Induction Date: 10 January 2022

You’ll receive a comprehensive 3 weeks onsite induction from our specialist trainers to set you up for success in your new role at AXA. What you’ll be doing:

  • Working in a multi-channel environment you will service our Brokers via calls, live chat and email.
  • Deliver an excellent customer service to our network of national Insurance Brokers
  • Underwrite new and existing business profitability, accurately and in line with established Underwriting practice.
  • Working productively as a team to achieve business goals and objectives.
  • Establish and develop business relationships with intermediaries.
  • Actively encourage generation of profitable new business.
  • Contributing to the overall customer experience by identifying successes and best practices

Qualifications

  • Established career in a customer focused environment
  • Understand the value of the customer and has extensive experience in customer service environment.
  • Experience in General/Commercial Insurance preferred but not essential
  • Have excellent computer skills and able to use a variety of IT Microsoft systems like excel
  • Ability to listen to the customers’ needs and act accordingly

IDD:This position has been defined as an Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) role under the IDD regime which means that in addition to pre-employment screening checks, the successful candidate will be subject to background screening every 4 years with an annual declaration in interim years.
