We are looking for a Customer Liaison Officer who is a people person, someone that is able to work with the supervisors and project managers on planned works. Someone who can visit sheltered schemes and interact with the individuals we work with. Getting involved with charitable work and being the face of our business.

This role is being offered on a Permanent basis based out of our Milton Keynes branch with the requirement of site visits that extend out to Aylesbury, Bedford, Hemel Hempstead and Luton.

We are offering a Salary £21,500 for this role, plus great company benefits.

More About The Position

As Customer Liaison Officer you will be acting as Mears local operational representation for our customers, working closely with the local branch operational team and customers on a day to day basis. This is a great position if you love customer and client interaction within a varied and busy environment.

You will be developing strong working relationships with our customers which is essential in order to provide front facing support and advice as required. You will also be providing efficient communication between the residents and operational teams by putting the customer at the heart of everything we do; ensuring we meet the needs of the business, our clients and our customers.

What Will Your Day Involve
  • You will provide a front-line professional service to all customers - pro-actively deliver a positive experience
  • Coordinate and deliver all customer operational related tasks
  • Proactively support the Group Customer Success Manager as required
  • Encourage positive relationships between Mears and the customer, ensuring all actions are followed up and communicated effectively
  • Support customer engagement activities across all channels
  • Support Customer Service Centre with resolution of front-line complaints and queries
  • Act as a champion for social value, Mears methodology and internal communications
  • Engage customers in a positive way, involve them in the overall delivery process, keeping them informed of progress on works and manage expectations
  • Ensure customers opinions are acknowledged and feedback into operational teams – champion customer insight solution
What You Need To Have

If you have a passion for provided excellent levels of client and customer service you will thrive in this varied position
  • We are looking to meet candidates with an established high-level Administrative and Customer Service delivery background. Candidates who have experience working within Housing, Property, Social Housing, Construction or IT sectors will be highly desirable.
  • Skills of developing and delivering service improvements
  • Experience of handling multiple tasks in a high volume, rapidly changing environment.
  • A background that includes partnership /alliance /collaborative working.
  • Good time management, planning & organisational skills.
  • Experience of working with computerised systems.
  • Good written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer experience ethos and strong communication skills
  • A natural networker with great negotiation and analytical skills.
