Proximity Recruitment are searching for an experienced CRM Marketing Manager (circa £50,000 + benefits) for a strong leisure business in Worcestershire. The successful CRM Manager will play a key role in a full re-platform of the firm’s CRM system as well as managing, developing and growing a team which is currently 1 (with a view to increasing headcount this year).

Responsibilities include:

  • Full end-to-end management of the CRM activity, designing the CRM strategy to target new customer acquisition, customer loyalty and retention with automated and ad hoc campaigns including all activity to continually grow the email database.
  • Own the technical execution of the CRM platform, including overall accountability for the CRM system, tracking and CRM database by troubleshooting and problem-solving issues.
  • Implement a continuous test and learn approach to the CRM strategy to optimise the performance of campaigns including implementation, design and testing of email templates.
  • Work with the Head of Data to ensure the latest segmentation and data sources are used in CRM marketing activity; define new data requirements to deliver the CRM strategy.
  • Work closely with the Head of Trading and Commercial & Trading Manager and their teams to ensure the CRM activity is optimal and timely in line with company objectives.
  • Provide regular and insightful updates to key stakeholders around the business of successes, learnings and opportunities.
  • Ensure all CRM activity is undertaken observing the requirements of data protection legislation (GDPR).
  • Lead the CRM team, developing and coaching, maximising their potential and prioritising team workload.

With this successful B2C operation relying on a strong CRM, data & acquisition strategy this is a key role to support the future success of the business. It is an enabling role which will also have opportunity to shape & develop strategy and team moving forward.

The role benefits from home working currently with the CMO envisaging a hybrid model of 2 days in the office the rest from home moving forward.
