About Our Client

A new opportunity for a Credit Controller to join a leading business based in Crawley.

Job Description

  • Maintain a tidy sales ledger for approximately 450 customers, with a monthly turnover of £1.5m-£2m.
  • Ensuring adherence to the Companies strict payment terms.
  • To reduce debtor days and minimise 60+ day debt.
  • Ensure sales invoice queries are logged and dealt with in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining up to date accurate customer records.
  • To build good customer relations both internally and externally.
  • Assist the Sales Ledger Team with banking requirements as and when required.
  • Assist the Sales Ledger Team with cash allocation when required.
  • Liaise with Purchase Ledger to ensure that customer payments are raised in a reciprocal. manner, so as to not impact on the collections.
  • Any other reasonable ad hoc duties as required.

The Successful Applicant

  • Must have experience in a similar role
  • May be studying an accountancy qualification but not essential
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong MS Excel knowledge
