Credit Controller 12-month Fixed Term Contract Our Company The Stroma Group is a multidisciplinary service provider to the construction industry. We work throughout the project lifecycle to support our clients in achieving building sustainability and compliance with regulation. We employ a diverse and multi-talented team able to deploy specialist services throughout the RIBA Plan of Work stages. Through our team’s collaboration, a client can call upon Stroma as their sole provider to deliver building compliance and environmental sustainability consultancy.
Our Role Working within a busy & evolving finance team based at our Castleford office, we require a credit controller to chase the Stroma Building Control ledger by telephone & email correspondence. Focusing on the over 60-day debtors & ensuring stage payments are received prior to the release of building control certificates/completion of project.
You will need Previous experience of working in a Credit Controller role Confident & professional manner on the telephone Diligent with good attention to detail Able to deal with strong / difficult clients Good team player, offering help to colleagues in other areas of the business when workload dictates Capable of working independently & proactive Knowledge of working with Sage 200 (desirable)
