Credit Controller, £24,384, Wetherby, hybrid workingWould you like to work for a friendly and well established team? Do you like hybrid working then this role offers an excellent split. Due to internal promotion, we are recruiting for a company who are looking for a Credit Controller. Working within the agriculture sector you will be dealing with farmers, building relationships, and working with them to arrange payment.This is an exciting role to work for a fantastic company.Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the day-to-day management of your customer base
  • Develop excellent relationships with your customers and other stakeholders
  • To ensure the timely co-ordination of payments in relation to cash collection and aged debt reduction
  • To be proactive in collections activities
  • Providing solutions to assist customers with their cash flow
  • Managing credit limits in-line with relevant authorisations
  • To manage aging debt and escalate where required
  • Working with internal colleagues to ensure actions are carried out in a timely manner
  • To maintain customer records and notify the relevant department of changes required
  • To ensure processes are followed as part of the collection requirements
Skills Required
  • Experience in Credit Management working in a busy environment or Customer Service
  • To have a positive attitude and a ’Can Do’ mindset
  • Strong customer service and commercial awareness
  • To have excellent communication skills
  • Planning and organisation skills
