We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Contract Manager to join our personalised commissioning team in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.

The post holder will play a key role in supporting the Continuing Healthcare service across the region. Working within the remit of the National Framework for Continuing Healthcare, the post holder will deliver an effective and competent level of service and consistently deliver a client-focused service.

The post holder will play a key role in the effective development of Continuing Healthcare contracts with providers of Continuing Healthcare clinical services, ensuring value for money.

The post holder will lead on development, implementation, monitoring and management of contracting, ensuring that an effective partnership approach is taken to support the delivery of clinically appropriate and cost effective care for Continuing Healthcare patients. This will involve supporting the Head of Service, and other team members, in the formulation and signing of contracts with providers, detailed understanding and sharing of activity and financial information and collation of regular reports on the performance of proviers against the contrcats.

This is a challenging post that will require excellent communication skills and requires proven capacity to work in a multi-disciplinary way at strategic and operational levels. The postholder will have the ability to engage with key stakeholders and demonstrable competencies in the managing and contracting of Continuing Healthcare services and to provide leadership to colleagues to implement contracting strategies across the region and support the development of local and national contracting policies.

The post holder should hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle to be able to fulfil the requirements of this post.
