We are currently looking to recruit an experience Conference and Banqueting Manager. As Conference and Banqueting Manager you will control and manage the smooth and efficient running of the Conference & Banqueting Department, maintaining maximum quality standards and ensuring total guest satisfaction. This position demands the ability to oversee a wide variety of different events including weddings, private dinners, conferences and parties in locations across the whole of the estate. Control of wage cost and managing profitability through effective sales and efficient stock control are key elements of the position.

Our client is a beautiful 4 red Star Hotel with 100+ bedrooms set in the heart of 66 acres of glorious park & boasts the longest uninterrupted view in Hampshire. With a 2 rosette Restaurant they are committed to delivering hospitality to the highest standard.

The Person

As Conference and Banqueting Manager you will have the following
  • A strong operational record in hospitality, with a sound knowledge of Conference and Banqueting
  • Excellent communication skills, be highly organised, passionate and self motivated.
  • Enthusiastic, customer-focused and work within deadlines set to meet business and customer demands.
  • Demonstrable experience of managing a team
  • The ability to train, develop and motivate people to achieve the targets that will be set.
