BAND 2 HEALTH ASSISTANTS – DISTRICT NURSING WAKING NIGHT SERVICE

We have an exciting opportunity for Health Care Assistants to work within the District Nursing Night Service in Somerset.

Due to development and expansion of the District Nursing Service we are looking for committed and motivated Health Care Assistants to join our existing team.

There are 4 x Band 2 WTE posts available so would consider applicants seeking full time, part time or job share opportunities.

These posts consist of 10hr shifts – 21:45-08:15 covering a seven day a week service.

There are four bases across the county at South Petherton, Taunton, Bridgwater and West Mendip and this can be discussed with the applicant at interview.

The D/N Waking Night Service support patients within their own home environment who require unplanned nursing visits overnight. The role involves working with patients/ family/carers/other health professionals as required although you will be working alongside a trained nurse

The post will involve a significant amount of driving across the county overnight
