Salary Details: Grade 9, £37,363 - £41,438 pro-rata

Contract Type: Temporary 12 months fixed term (maternity cover), 29.6 Hours Per Week

Our Communications Team has earned national recognition for their creative and innovative communications with the people of Doncaster. We are now looking for a talented Communications and Engagement Officer to join our team to work on a range of communications campaigns. We are looking for somebody with a degree level qualification in a communications related discipline who has a desire to further their communications career in an innovative and fast paced team.

Covering the full communications and marketing mix, you will have a strong strategic understanding of all communications channels and the best ways of engaging with our residents. This will include developing strong communications plans based on briefs from different council services, managing media enquiries, working with in-house design and social media teams and managing crisis situations.
