We are currently seeking experienced and enthusiastic Commercial Underwriters to join our team at our Regional Service Centre in Glasgow.


As a Commercial Underwriter, you will be responsible for building and maintaining productive relationships with our network of NFU Mutual agents, delivering first class technical support and assistance on new business, renewals and mid-term adjustments. You will be working on our customer’s Commercial insurance policies across a variety of Commercial business classes.


Depending on your experience, you may work as one of the more senior members of team, dealing with more complex cases as well as supporting and coaching other Commercial Underwriters.


Salary: up to £35k p.a. depending on experience + bonus
Working hours: 35 hours per week, Monday – Friday. Shifts fall between the hours of 8am and 6pm

We are looking for a customer-orientated and detail-focussed professional who has previous Commercial underwriting experience.


Being a strong team player, you will strive to achieve high quality standards and output, even when challenged and working under pressure. You will be used to always putting the customer first and fully considering their requirements whilst developing lasting relationships.
