Salary/package Up to £44,000 per annum and comprehensive company benefits

Location Winchester (Crawley Court)

Arqiva operates a flexible hybrid working model with travel required to Winchester.

The Utilities industry is undergoing a major digital transformation. Smart Metering Infrastructure is key to enabling this transition, and Arqiva is at the forefront of the networking technology that powers smart meter connectivity in the UK. Working across the wider organisation the Commercial Finance Analyst will play an important role in supporting Arqiva’s growth in Smart Utilities Networks and will have a real opportunity to be part of our future success.

Accountabilities

  • Provide support on monthly analysis and results that helps drive a full year out turn that maximises the financial performance
  • Provide support on LTP, Budget and forecast out comes; regular performance reporting on levers/risks/opportunities including relevant monitoring of KPIs to drive performance
  • Co-ordinate and analyse monthly management and working capital information for reporting to the management team
  • Drive through process improvements and support on continual improvements
  • Review, recommend and update team’s policies and process flows.
  • Update training material and assist with delivery of training material where required into the business
  • Provide further analytical support to the team as required
  • Provide challenge into the account team on all investments, new business and renewal assumptions

Qualifications

  • Studying toward a finance related professional qualification or part/recently qualified

Experience/Expertise

  • Experience of working in a matrix environment
  • Significant experience of analysing and explaining data to non-finance colleagues

Required Technical / Professional Skillset(s)

  • Significant knowledge and use of Microsoft Excel and other office product, business analytical tools and report writing capabilities
  • Experience of working as a Business Partner
