Commercial Delivery Driver (3.5 tonne)
Our client is the largest independent distributor of Engineering Products and Consumables in the United Kingdom. The group currently employs over 900 people, who continue to be a cornerstone of the business and are fundamental to providing industry-leading customer service.
With over 45 branches across the UK, they continue to invest in their branch network, to ensure they can operate at a localised level with their customers, to meet their requirements, providing access to the stock, services and technical personnel that their customers rely on to maintain operations.
We are currently seeking a Commercial Delivery Driver (3.5 tonne) for their Halesowen head-office.
Working Hours: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday plus 1 in 4 Saturday mornings
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Van safety checks

Collecting and delivery of goods, unloading at customer sites

Loading of vehicle at the company premises

Ensure that proof of delivery documents are signed and returned to HQ for processing

Ad-hoc driving duties as required

Skills & Requirements

FLT licence is desirable, however not essential

Experience of working in a fast-paced environment would be advantageous

Good work ethic

Must hold a Class 2 licence to cover leave.
