Job Summary:

As a Coach Driver for Godiva Travel Ltd, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting passengers on both domestic and international routes across the UK and Europe. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of our passengers while adhering to strict safety standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Safe and Efficient Driving: Operate coaches in compliance with traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure the safety of passengers, crew, and the vehicle.

Route Planning: Plan and navigate routes efficiently, ensuring timely arrivals and departures at designated locations. Familiarise yourself with European road systems and regulations.

Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, including assisting passengers with boarding and disembarking, handling luggage, and addressing inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.

Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the coach, reporting any mechanical issues or concerns promptly. Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations, including tachograph regulations, driving hours, and rest periods.

Communication: Maintain clear communication with passengers, colleagues, and the operations team to address any issues or changes in the schedule.

Requirements:

Hold a valid and clean Category D (PCV) driving licence.

CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a coach driver, with experience in European routes preferred.

Excellent knowledge of UK and European road networks.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work flexible hours and extended periods away from home.

Good physical condition and ability to lift and handle luggage.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £12.00-£15.00 per hour
