Job Description

CNC Programmer/Operator

Pertemps Stoke are currently looking for an experienced CNC Programmer/Operator to join our well established manufacturing client based in the Newcastle-under-Lyme area.

Main duties of this CNC Programmer/Operator role:
    Develop and optimise CNC programmes using industry standard programming languages
    Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints and specifications to create machining instructions
    Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds and feeds based on material roperties and part geometry
    Troubleshoot and resolve programming or machining issues
    Maintain detailed documentation of CNC programmes

Skills required for CNC Programmer/Operator role:
    Proven experience as a CNC programmer in a manufacturing environment
    Strong understanding of engineering drawings, geometric dimensions and tolerances
    Familiarity with a variety of machining processes and materials
    Strong communication and organisational skills
    Continuous learning mindset and a desire to stay updated on industry trends

Job Details of this CNC Programmer/Operator role:
    Hourly rate of pay is £13.00-14.00PH
    Monday to Thursday 8:00-16:30 Friday 8:00-15:30
    Location: Newcastle-under-Lyme
