JOB DESCRIPTION

(15-Month Fixed Term Contract)

Deliver timely and accurate client tax reporting within Wealth International, including FATCA/CRS/QI, in accordance with local regulations. Act as point of referral within WIN for all client tax matters, liaising with internal and external stakeholders as required.

Provide ongoing assurance that the client tax processes and procedures are fit for purpose and assist in ensuring that robust mechanisms are in place to deliver timely and accurate reporting in line with regulatory obligations.

Assist with management of client tax risk through existing Risk and Control Self-Assessment (“RCSA”) frameworks. Support the Head of Corporate and Client Tax in delivering a dedicated WIN Tax function, including advising business units on a range of general tax matters and assistance on ad-hoc tax projects where applicable.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Outputs:
Identifying data which requires remediation and developing remediation plans and assume personal ownership for timely completion, liaising with business segments and relevant stakeholders. Implement and drive remediation plan for business segments to ensure information is fit for purpose at time of reporting.

Monitor quality of reporting data on monthly basis and report to Head of Corporate and Client Tax and stakeholders any significant matters

Reviewing the entity classification codes and streamline where feasible. Working with business segments to obtain updated / new entity classifications. Ensure onboarding forms and systems allow accurate recording of entity classifications. Advise business segments on validation of classification forms received.

Run indicia checks on data to identify reportable clients and validate results.

Communicate scope of reporting requirements to reporting tool provider and review reporting tool logic is accurate and complete, including raising any significant matters to the Head of Corporate and Client Tax. Extract and provide reports to business segments to approve reportable clients. Manage and monitor annual RM attestations for individuals and entities,
including communication with relevant stakeholders.

Review standard operating procedures which impact FATCA / CRS reporting are aligned to existing governance framework and across jurisdictions and business segments.
