Weqas runs over 40 EQA Programmes, providing performance analysis, external audit and an educational advisory service to NHS Pathology Departments, independent healthcare laboratories, independent pharmacies, forensic pathology services, veterinary pathology laboratories, clinical trial units and diagnostic companies.We are seeking a motivated, organised and courteous individual to provide efficient operational and personal administrative support.The Business Support team also acts as the first point of contact for visitors, deals with client queries via telephone and email, and provides support to the Business & Project Lead for marketing events and projects.The post holder will need excellent communication skills, a flexible approach to work, good IT skills and excellent organisational skills.The Duties PerformedTo provide personal and operational administrative support to the Senior Management Team and the Department’s senior staff by accessing electronic diaries and arranging departmental and various external meetings.To support the department with taking and producing minutes as requested for different meetings and sections of the departmentTo answer general enquiries (or seek appropriate advice) to ensure all internal or external service users receive appropriate and accurate information.To undertake clerical duties, including photocopying & scanning, as requested by management and be flexible in approach to work should the need arise.To provide clerical support to the Business & Project Lead for marketing events and projects.To maintain robust office procedures such as electronic file management, filing, post logging and to provide an efficient and tidy working environment.The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.Cardiff and Vale University Health Boardis one of the largest Integrated Health Boards in the UK, employing over 15,000 staff, providing over 100 specialist services.
