Class 2 Driver - Experience Required

At Blue Arrow we are looking for reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers on a temporary basis for client sickness and holiday cover.

Opportunities for ongoing work are available for the right candidates.

Pay rates are as follows:

Dayshift - £12.00ph

Start times vary from client to client but are generally early starts from 03:00AM.

Work includes local palletised and caged deliveries of goods to businesses around the North East.

Due to the nature of the role there will be handballing and unloading involved as part of the job.

The majority of this assignment is Monday - Friday work, however there may be some weekend requirements - rate uplifts will be in place should there be weekend shifts available.

Main Duties/Responsibilities

As a LGV Category C Driver you will:

• Complete pre departure vehicle checks
• Transport goods between planned sites and drops
• Complete paperwork and follow compliance
• Adhere to tachograph and working times rules

Qualifications

In order to process your application, you must have the following:

• HGV Class 2 entitlement
• CPC
• Digi tacho card

We cannot accept more than 6 points or DR/DU on a licence.

As well as the above we are currently looking for drivers with at least 6 months experience in a similar role.
