Do you have good people skills and want to work in a vibrant care home environment? We are looking for the right person with a passion for food & a strong commitment to support older people possibly living with dementia to have quality mealtime experiences.

As a Cook with Brunelcare you will be responsible for managing the catering functions at Glastonbury in the absence of the Head Chef. You will work with a small catering team which provides a catering service 365 days per year .This responsibility will also allow you to assist the people who live here in their daily lives, work with the whole team and develop great relationships with colleagues and families

About The Role

To provide high quality meals.

To be able to stand in for the Head Chef in their absence

To maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the kitchen.

Available to work various hours including weekend work.

About You

To have excellent catering skills with experience in a catering environment

Keen to undergo training and further development.

Be flexible and reliable and demonstrate Good leadership skills.

Work well as part of the wider team in a person centred way

Due to our work with older vulnerable adults and the provision of hands-on care, it is vital that we reduce any risks related to COVID-19, therefore we request that all applicants have been fully vaccinated before commencing employment.
