Category Buyer - IT I Stratford upon Avon with hybrid working I Salary £40,000 to £50,000

They are now looking to recruit for a Category Buyer - IT to join the team.

Your new role
The Category Buyer will join an established Procurement team and will focus on the procurement of IT related goods and services. The role will lead any relevant sourcing and tender processes, negotiate contractual terms and be responsible for managing relevant supplier relationship. The Category Buyer will develop and implement sourcing strategies that deliver a fair process focused on cost savings, quality, risk and sustainability. Additionally, the post holder will create strong and collaborative stakeholder relationships, monitor performance, enhance value and drive continuous improvement.

What you’ll need to succeed
You will be a Category Buyer who is an IT category specialist or an Indirect Buyer who strong experience of IT procurement. You will have proven success in category management, managing tender processes and supplier relationship management. You will have strong negotiation skills, have a collaborative approach and have excellent internal stakeholder management skills.

What you’ll get in return
