Kirklees Catering Service provides high quality catering services to Oakwell Hall Country Park, Greenhead Park Conservatory and Town Halls throughout Kirklees.

As a Casual Catering Assistant, you will help to ensure that a high quality, customer focused catering service is delivered to customers and visitors to the Countryside Café at Oakwell Hall Country Park.

Customer service is key in this role, so you must be able to demonstrate that you have had previous experience in dealing with the public.

Oakwell Hall is furnished as a family home in the 1690s and offers visitors a real insight into a post-English Civil War household. The site also includes over 100 acres of award winning country park and gardens, a visitor centre, gift shop, nature trail, picnic sites and playground.

You will need to be available for work for at least three café shifts per calendar month, ensuring necessary cover arrangements are in place, if you are unable to work an allocated event.

Shifts available are Monday to Sunday between the hours of 8am to 5pm and shifts can vary between 3 to 8 hours per shift.

You will need to comply with required dress code ensuring that uniforms, badges provided are worn, enabling easy identification by users of the service.

You must be able to safely move and handle heavy items e.g. bottles.
