About The Service
We currently have vacancies for drivers/carers within our Cardiff Day Centres, delivering a service that provides support to adults living with Dementia. People are supported by the service to access a wide range of day opportunities within a care setting.
About the job
The successful applicants will work as part of an established team supporting adults living with dementia to access daytime opportunities. The role requires the post holder to attend to the personal care & support needs of users of the day centre, to ensure their physical and emotional well-being needs are met; along with delivering & supporting participation in social & recreational activities. Posts available are: 37 hours per week 35 hours per week 28 hours per week
What We Are Looking For From You
Ideally, you will have experience of working with older people with dementia. You should hold or be willing to train and achieve the QCF 2 level required for the post, along with undertaking relevant designated training courses. You will need to be flexible, and have a positive & happy attitude. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
