Full-time, £21,000 - £22,500 plus excellent benefitsWe are working with our client based just outside of Wetherby who have been going through a period of exciting growth and are now looking to expand their team. A new position has been created for a Buying Administration Assistant to support the buying team and learn all aspects of the buying cycle. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone interested in pursuing a career in buying and looking for a role that can offer a structured career path.Responsibilities include -
  • Maintenance and updating of product information
  • Creating BOM (bills of material) for new and seasonal products
  • Ordering seasonal and updated product labels
  • Proof checking prices lists and brochures
  • VAT checking to ensure it has been recorded correctly
  • Assisting the Technical Manager with label creating and proofing
  • Assisting the buying team with general tasks, including sample gathering, chasing suppliers, checking timescales for deliveries, checking stock in the warehouse, product merchandising and sales plans
  • Website maintenance
Candidate attributes –
  • GCSE Maths and English
  • Competent in MS Office especially Excel
  • Enthusiastic and flexible
  • Able to multitask
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Can work under pressure and able to work to deadlines
