Business Development Manager- Birmingham

£35,000-£40,000 + benefits

One of the UK’s leading Water Treatment Consultancies are looking for a Business Development Manager to join their office in the West Midlands to assist with their new office’s growth!

The company have recently taken their next step and opened a brand-new office in the West Midlands due to more demand of Water Hygiene Services across the UK, so are eager to take on a Business Development Manager with exceptional Legionella knowledge to sell their Water Hygiene Service Packages.

The ideal candidate will come from a Water Hygiene/Legionella Management Consultancy background and have 2+ years’ experience within a Sales/Account Manager position in this environment.

The role will include;

• Working closely with Senior Management to grow their national presence
• Follow up leads made by the sales team & attend 2/3 appointments daily
• Utilise the company’s database and monitor performance targets and forecast sales
• Prepare sales reports
• Implement sales strategies to maximise profit/performance
• Costing & Tendering contracts to ensure margins are achieved.
• Build & maintain key contacts within the industry to ensure the company are the go to choice for all things Water Hygiene.
• Account Management of existing accounts
• Upselling/Cross-selling services
• Conduct monthly sales meetings with management

The role will require the successful candidate to have experience in all of the above, a full UK driving license and flexibility to work from their office in the West Midlands on a daily basis.
