Trainee Air Hygiene Engineer- Birmingham

£17,500-£19,000+ benefits

My client are a leading Air & Water Hygiene Service provider and due to further growth across the UK, they are now eager to recruit Trainee Air Hygiene Engineers in the Birmingham area.

The company are located in the South West and offer remote working for their dedicated team of Engineers, so require the successful applicant to be flexible with regards to travel & have a full UK driving license!

The company work with a large base of clients across the UK including MOD, NHS & HMP Prison Service, so the successful Trainee Air Hygiene Engineer applicant will need to have a clean criminal record and be willing to undergo a full DBS & prison clearance test.

The role will require the successful applicant to be used to manual labour & be willing to work in unusual conditions.

The company offer full training for this position along with further training throughout the career of the successful Trainee Air Hygiene Engineer applicant. Once qualified, the role will include;

• Carrying out Ductwork Cleaning
• Kitchen Extract Decreasing & Cleaning
• Fire Damper Testing
• Working at height
• Working in confined space
• Report writing & taking pictures of cleaning results

The company expect the successful applicant to have a good level or verbal & written communication and ability to work well as a team.

The company offer a salary of up to £19,000 along with a company van- that can be used privately, 5 weeks full day holiday, travel time paid door-to-door, pension plan, lucrative overtime & progression opportunity.
